The kinetic multilayer model of multiphase chemistry (KM3C) describes the coupled mass transport and chemical reaction of chemical species in multiphase chemical systems. Following the framework of Pöschl, Rudich and Ammann (2007), condensed phases are described with a sorption layer, a quasi-static surface layer and a number of bulk layers, between which species are exchanged by surface-bulk transport and bulk diffusion, respectively.
Because the same framework serves very different research questions, KM3C is offered here as a set of applications, each with the input parameters and outputs relevant to its own problem. Further applications will be added to this page as they are published.
